It captures dust, pollen, mould spores, and pet dander before they reach your airway, with an 88% efficiency at 7–10 microns. The white foam filter sits inside a darker blue plastic frame — distinguishing it from the lighter-blue disposable ultra-fine filter that it pairs with.

The Two-Filter System

The DreamStation uses two filters working together. This reusable pollen filter (darker blue frame) handles the larger airborne particles — dust, pollen, pet dander. The companion disposable ultra-fine filter (1122519) sits behind it in a lighter blue frame and catches finer particles like smoke and bacteria. For the cleanest air delivery, both filters should be in place — though the reusable pollen filter alone is sufficient if the ultra-fine filter is unavailable.

Compatible with all original Philips Respironics DreamStation Series machines:

Not compatible with the DreamStation 2 or the DreamStation Go — both of those models use differently-shaped filters that aren't interchangeable with this part.

Cleaning & Replacement

Clean the filter every two weeks — sooner if it appears visibly dirty. Rinse under warm tap water, gently squeeze to remove water, and let it air-dry on a clean towel before reinserting it into the machine. Replace the filter every 6 months as part of standard maintenance, or earlier if you notice tearing, hardening, persistent discolouration, or if the foam no longer springs back after squeezing.
