The ResMed HumidX F20 is the genuine waterless humidification system for the AirMini travel CPAP when paired with an AirFit F20, AirFit F20 For Her, or AirTouch F20 full face mask. A small heat-and-moisture exchanger (HME) that clicks directly into the F20 cushion, HumidX captures heat and moisture from your exhaled breath and releases it back on the next inhale — softening dryness, congestion, and throat irritation without needing distilled water. How HumidX F20 Works

HumidX F20 isn't a water-based humidifier. It's a heat-and-moisture exchanger — a small disc made of layered paper ridges that captures heat and moisture from your exhaled breath as it passes through. When you inhale, the warm humidified air is released back through the disc, softening the dry pressurised air coming from the AirMini. The result is more comfortable, less drying therapy without any water tank, distilled water, or risk of leaks during travel.

Compatibility

For use with the ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP only, paired with one of the following full face masks via the F20 AirMini Setup Pack:

• AirFit F20
• AirFit F20 For Her
• AirTouch F20

The HumidX F20 clicks directly into the cushion of these F20 series masks.

F20 vs Nasal HumidX — Different Products

This HumidX is exclusively for F20 full face masks. If you use a nasal or nasal pillow mask with your AirMini, you need the HumidX for N20 & P10 instead — same waterless principle, but with a different fit that inserts between the mask connector and the tubing. The two HumidX products aren't interchangeable.

Is There a HumidX Plus for F20?

No. ResMed makes HumidX Plus only for AirFit N20 and AirFit P10 nasal masks — designed for dry climates, high altitude, or aircraft cabins where extra moisture capture is needed. There is no Plus version for F20 full face masks. If you're flying or staying in a very dry environment with an F20 mask and AirMini, the standard HumidX F20 is the only HumidX option available.

What About the AirFit F30?

HumidX is not compatible with the AirFit F30. The F30 mask uses a different cushion architecture and doesn't accept any HumidX disc. If you're using an F30 with the AirMini and need humidification, the AirMini doesn't offer a HumidX option for your setup.

Replacement Schedule

Each HumidX F20 disc lasts 30 days once opened — regardless of whether you've used it every night or only on travel days. The paper ridges absorb moisture over time and lose effectiveness whether you're using the disc daily or not. The 3-pack covers roughly 3 months of replacement; the 6-pack covers 6 months. Replace immediately if the disc has been exposed to liquids, visible debris, or significant moisture.

Important — Do Not Wash

HumidX F20 is disposable, not washable. Attempting to wash, rinse, or submerge the disc destroys the paper-ridge structure and makes it unusable. Keep it dry and away from heat or direct sunlight when not in use. Replace on schedule rather than try to clean.
