About the Headgear

The AirFit P10 headgear features a simple, minimal-contact design with thin, adjustable elastic straps that secure the nasal pillow cushion with very little presence on the face. A well-fitting headgear is essential for keeping the mask in position — stretched or worn-out straps are one of the most common causes of mask leak, which can disrupt therapy and affect your sleep quality. Replacing the headgear when it shows signs of wear helps restore a reliable seal and keeps your therapy on track.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash the headgear weekly in warm water using a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, or scented, moisturising, or antibacterial soaps. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. When to Replace

Plan to replace your AirFit P10 headgear approximately every 12 months as part of your regular CPAP maintenance routine. Consider replacing it sooner if the straps have stretched out, lost their elasticity, or no longer hold tension; if you notice visible fraying or material breakdown; if the mask has become harder to fit or is no longer maintaining a good seal; or if there is persistent discoloration, staining, or odour that doesn't wash out. Like all CPAP consumables, the headgear is a wear-and-tear item and regular replacement is normal.
