Philips DreamStation 15mm Standard Tube

The Philips DreamStation 15mm Standard Tube (PR15) is the genuine non-heated slim tube for DreamStation, DreamStation 2, and System One 60 Series machines. 1.83m with 22mm cuffs — fits any CPAP mask. Compatible with any 15mm-capable CPAP machine.

The Philips DreamStation 15 mm Standard Tube (PR15) is the genuine non-heated slim breathing tube for the DreamStation, DreamStation 2, and System One 60 Series CPAP and BiPAP machines. The 15 mm slim diameter is lighter and more flexible than older 22 mm tubing — putting less drag on your mask through the night — while the universal 22 mm cuffed ends connect to any standard CPAP mask.

Key Features

  • 1.83 m (6 ft) length with 22 mm cuffed ends: Universal mask connection — fits any CPAP mask using the standard cuff fitting.
  • 15 mm slim inner diameter: Lighter and more flexible than 22 mm tubes — less drag on your mask, easier to manoeuvre on the bedside table.
  • Universal compatibility: No proprietary connector — works on any CPAP or BiLevel machine with a 15 mm tube setting, not just DreamStation.
  • Non-heated: Lower cost than the heated alternative — ideal if you don't run a humidifier or live in a warm climate.
  • Genuine Philips Respironics: Manufacturer-specified part PR15 — latex-free.

Compatibility

This is the manufacturer-specified slim tube for:

  • Philips Respironics DreamStation (DreamStation 1)
  • Philips Respironics DreamStation 2
  • Philips Respironics System One 60 Series REMstar CPAP and BiPAP

The 22 mm cuffed ends will physically connect to any CPAP machine and any standard CPAP mask. However, machine pressure compensation is calibrated against the manufacturer's own tubes — a Philips PR15 isn't a like-for-like equivalent to a ResMed SlimLine or a Lowenstein 15 mm tube, even though all three are 15 mm slim tubes with 22 mm cuffs. For accurate therapy pressure, use the 15 mm tube specified by your machine's manufacturer.

Set your machine to 15 mm tube mode. Check your machine's menu for the tube-diameter setting and select 15 mm — the machine compensates pressure delivery based on this setting.

Heated or Non-Heated?

This PR15 is the non-heated version of the slim DreamStation tube. If you experience rainout — water droplets pooling in the tube on cooler nights — the DreamStation 15 mm Heated Tube (HT15) is the heated upgrade. Same dimensions, but with a 3-prong electrical connector that integrates with the DreamStation humidifier and unlocks 5 heat settings from the machine menu. The standard PR15 is the right choice if you're not running a humidifier, you live in a warm climate, or you simply want a lower-cost replacement.

Cleaning & Care

Wash the tube weekly in warm water with a mild soap. Avoid stronger cleaning products like dish detergents — they can damage the tube material. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air-dry on a flat towel out of direct sunlight. Don't autoclave or use bleach.

When to Replace

Replace your CPAP tubing every 6 to 12 months as part of standard maintenance. Replace earlier if you notice cracks, holes, persistent odour, or visible build-up inside the tube that can't be cleaned out.
