Philips DreamStation 15mm Heated Tube

The Philips DreamStation 15mm Heated Tube (HT15) is the genuine heated slim tube for DreamStation, DreamStation 2, and System One 60 Series machines. 1.83m with 5 heat settings and auto-detection. Prevents rainout when paired with the heated humidifier.

The Philips DreamStation 15 mm Heated Tube (HT15) is the genuine heated slim breathing tube for the DreamStation, DreamStation 2, and System One 60 Series REMstar CPAP and BiPAP machines. The 3-prong connector plugs directly into the machine's heated humidifier, the device auto-recognises the heated tube and switches to 15 mm mode, and the menu unlocks five heat settings — keeping a consistent air temperature from the humidifier all the way to your mask and preventing rainout on cooler nights.

Key Features

  • Plug-and-play 3-prong connector: Plugs straight into the DreamStation heated humidifier — no separate power supply, no extra setup steps.
  • Five heat settings (0–5): Fine-tune the tube temperature from the machine menu — 0 turns heating off, 5 is maximum.
  • Auto-detection: The machine recognises the heated tube on connection and automatically sets the device to 15 mm tube mode.
  • 1.83 m (6 ft) length, 15 mm slim inner diameter: Lighter and more flexible than older 22 mm tubes.
  • 22 mm standard cuffs: Connects to any CPAP mask using the universal cuff fitting.
  • Genuine Philips Respironics: Manufacturer-specified part HT15 — latex-free.

How It Works

The HT15 has a 3-prong electrical connector at the machine end that plugs into the heated humidifier dock on your DreamStation. Once connected, the machine auto-recognises the heated tube and switches to 15 mm tube mode in the background. The menu then unlocks the heat-setting control: a 0–5 slider that runs the heating element along the full length of the tube. Higher settings deliver warmer air to the mask, eliminating the cool spots where condensation forms in non-heated tubing.

Compatibility

Compatible with:

  • Philips Respironics DreamStation (DreamStation 1)
  • Philips Respironics DreamStation 2
  • Philips Respironics System One 60 Series REMstar CPAP and BiPAP

Heating requires the matched Philips heated humidifier. The tube can still be plugged into the machine without the humidifier, but it will function as a regular 15 mm slim tube — the heating element won't activate.

Not compatible with the DreamStation Go (uses a different tube), the System One 50 Series (uses the older HT12 tube), or CPAP machines from other manufacturers.

Heated or Non-Heated?

If you don't run a humidifier, or you live in a warm climate where rainout isn't an issue, the DreamStation 15 mm Standard Tube is the non-heated alternative — same length and diameter, lower cost, no heating element. The HT15 is the right pick when condensation, rainout, or moisture-related dryness is consistently disrupting therapy.

Cleaning & Care

Wash the tube weekly in warm water with a mild soap. Avoid stronger cleaning products like dish detergents — they can damage the tube material or leave harmful residue. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air-dry on a flat towel out of direct sunlight. Don't autoclave or expose to high heat, and don't use bleach.

When to Replace

Replace the heated tube every 6 to 12 months as part of standard maintenance. Replace earlier if you notice cracks, hardening, persistent odour, visible internal build-up, or any inconsistency in heating performance.
