About the DreamWear Under-the-Nose Cushion

The DreamWear Under-the-Nose (UTN) cushion uses the same top-of-head tube design as the standard DreamWear Nasal, but seals below the nostrils rather than using nasal pillows or a nasal cradle. Therapy air travels through the hollow frame from the top-of-head connection point, reaching the cushion from both sides of the frame simultaneously. The UTN design makes no contact with the nasal bridge or the inside of the nostrils, making it a good option for users who need full face delivery but find pillow masks irritating inside the nose.

When to Replace

Replace the DreamWear UTN cushion every 6 months under normal use, or sooner if you notice increased leaks, visible silicone softening or discolouration, a tacky feel after cleaning, or persistent odour. Clean daily with mild soap and warm water or CPAP mask wipes, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
