About the Nuance Gel Cushion

The Nuance and Nuance Pro use a unique gel nasal pillow cushion — unlike conventional silicone nasal pillows that insert into the nostrils, the Nuance gel cushion is designed to sit gently outside and around the nares, conforming to the contours of the nostril opening without inserting into the nose. The soft gel material is pliable and mouldable, creating a personalised seal that distributes pressure gently across the nostril area rather than concentrating it at a single insertion point. This makes the Nuance gel cushion particularly suited to users who find conventional inserted nasal pillow masks irritating or uncomfortable inside the nostrils.

When to Replace

Replace the Nuance gel cushion every 6 months under normal use, or sooner if you notice increased leaks, visible cushion softening or breakdown, discolouration, or persistent odour after cleaning. Clean daily with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
