About the Amara Silicone Cushion
The Amara silicone cushion uses a dual-wall construction that provides a traditional, conventional full face seal — the outer wall supports the cushion structure while the inner wall creates the sealing contact with the face. Philips designed the Amara around a universal one-click frame attachment, so any cushion size can be attached to any Amara frame without needing to match frame and cushion sizes separately. The silicone material is lightweight and straightforward to clean, and the clear material makes it easy to inspect the cushion for signs of wear.
When to Replace
Replace the Amara silicone cushion every 6 months under normal use, or sooner if you notice increased leaks, visible silicone softening or discolouration, a tacky feel after cleaning, or any reduction in seal quality. Clean daily with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
