About the AirPillow™ Seal

The Brevida uses F&P's AirPillow™ seal — a 3D-contoured Variable Thickness Silicone (VTS) cushion that is just 0.25mm at its thinnest point. Unlike conventional nasal pillow masks that insert rigidly into the nostrils, the AirPillow seal is worn looser against the face and self-inflates with therapy pressure to create a gentle double seal in and around the nose. This means less headgear tension is required, and the cushion can flex with movement during sleep without breaking the seal. Side support wings extend from each side of the seal to provide additional stability without adding pressure to the nostrils.

When to Replace

Replace the Brevida seal every 6 months under normal use, or sooner if you notice increased leaks, visible silicone softening or discolouration, a tacky feel after cleaning, or any loss of seal integrity. Clean daily using CPAP mask wipes or by gently washing with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight. Replacement Brevida headgear is also available separately if your headgear is showing signs of stretch or wear.
