About the Nova Micro MicroPillows™ Cushion

The Nova Micro uses F&P's MicroPillows™ cushion — a pair of small, flexible silicone pillows that seal at the base of the nostrils rather than inserting into them. This under-the-nose sealing approach makes the Nova Micro one of the lowest-profile nasal pillow masks available, with minimal contact at the nose and no insertion into the nostrils. The pillows are mounted on a flexible arm that allows them to pivot slightly in response to movement, helping maintain the seal as users shift position during sleep.

When to Replace

Replace the Nova Micro MicroPillows cushion every 6 months under normal use, or sooner if you notice increased leaks, visible silicone softening or discolouration, a tacky feel after cleaning, or persistent odour. Clean daily by gently washing with mild soap and warm water or CPAP mask wipes, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
