CPAP Cleaning Kit with Drying Hanger & Protector Mat

Customise Your Purchase

A CPAP cleaning kit for a simple daily and weekly routine: Purdoux soap, mask wipes and travel pack, a hose brush, drying hanger and bedside mat. Choose fragrance-free or citrus wipes, your soap scent and the brush that suits your hose.

A clean mask seals better, feels better on your skin and lasts longer. This CPAP cleaning kit brings together everything for a simple daily and weekly routine in one order, and lets you choose the scent and the hose brush so the kit suits you, not the other way round.

What's in the Kit

Every kit includes six items. Four come with a choice, and two are the same in every kit.

Item Your options What it's for
Purdoux CPAP mask & tube cleaner soap (250ml) Green Tea & Mint or Citrus Weekly wash of the mask, headgear, hose and water chamber
Purdoux CPAP mask wipes (tub of 70) Aloe Vera (fragrance-free) or Citrus A quick daily wipe of the cushion, no rinsing needed
Purdoux CPAP mask wipes travel pack (10 wipes) Aloe Vera (fragrance-free) or Citrus A resealable sachet for the overnight bag
CPAP hose brush Sleep Cleanse hose brush, or upgrade to the Purdoux 2-in-1 Scrubbing the inside of the hose
Tube and mask drying hanger Included Hanging the hose and mask to drain and dry
Bedside silicone protector mat Included Sitting under your machine on the bedside table

Each choice is independent, so you can mix them: Citrus soap with fragrance-free wipes is a perfectly good combination.

Choosing Your Scent

The Aloe Vera wipes are fragrance-free, which makes them the better pick if you have sensitive skin or find that a scent on your mask bothers you through the night. The Citrus wipes use grapefruit and lemon extracts for a light, fresh smell. Both are alcohol-free, made from 100% cotton and gentle on silicone.

The soap is the one item without an unscented version, so you choose between Green Tea & Mint and Citrus. Because the soap is always rinsed off with clean water while the wipes are not, the wipes are the choice that matters most if you are sensitive to fragrance.

Choosing Your Hose Brush

Sleep Cleanse Hose Brush (included)

A long, flexible stem with soft nylon bristles that you straighten out and run the length of the hose, plus a compact brush for connectors and other hard-to-reach parts. It cleans both 15mm slimline and standard tubing. One piece, nothing to assemble: the simple choice for most people.

Purdoux 2-in-1 Brush (upgrade)

A carbon fibre stem in six sections that you assemble to suit the length of your hose, with a nylon bristle tip to scrub and two microfibre tips to draw leftover moisture out after rinsing. Suits 15mm and 22mm tubing. Worth the upgrade if your hose is slow to dry or you live somewhere humid.

How the Kit Fits Your Cleaning Routine

  • Every morning: wipe the mask cushion with a mask wipe to lift the facial oils that build up on silicone and make a good seal harder to hold. Empty the water chamber and leave it to air dry.
  • Once a week: wash the mask, headgear and water chamber in warm (not hot) water with a small amount of soap. For the hose, add a little soap to a basin of lukewarm water, keep the hose straight and work the brush along it with short back-and-forth strokes, then rinse everything well with clean water.
  • Drying: hang the hose and mask on the drying hanger with both ends of the hose free so water can drain, out of direct sunlight. Let everything dry completely, ideally for a few hours or overnight, before you reconnect it. The hanger comes with a suction cup, an over-door hook and a wall screw, so it works on a bathroom tile, a towel rail or a fixed wall.
  • Bedside: the silicone mat sits between your machine and the bedside table, so a spill while refilling the water chamber lands on the mat rather than the furniture.
  • Travelling: the travel pack keeps the daily wipe going when you are away from home.
Heated tubing: if you use a heated tube, check its own care instructions before soaking or brushing it, and keep the electrical connector at the machine end dry. Never put the CPAP machine itself in water.

Who Is This Kit For?

This kit suits anyone starting CPAP who wants the whole routine sorted in one order, and existing users who have been making do with dish soap, a worn-out brush or a hose draped over the shower rail. If you already own a hose brush and a drying hanger, you probably only need the refills: the soap and mask wipes are sold separately. And if you are looking for an ozone or UV sanitising machine, this is not that: the kit is built around mild soap and warm water, which is the routine mask and machine instructions are written for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The soap is free of alcohol, bleach, conditioners, moisturisers and latex, which are the ingredients that can dry out silicone or leave a residue on the cushion, and it is made for silicone cushions, headgear and tubing from all the major brands. The exception is memory foam cushions, such as the ResMed AirTouch range: they have their own care instructions and are replaced monthly, so check the user guide before washing one.

The tub of 70 wipes covers a little over two months of daily use, and a 250ml bottle of soap typically lasts several months with weekly washing. The brush, drying hanger and mat are reusable. Replace the brush when the bristles flatten or lose their shape, since a worn brush no longer reaches the inside wall of the hose properly. Soap and wipes can be reordered on their own when they run out.

No. Mask, hose and humidifier care instructions are written around washing with mild soap and warm water, then drying fully, and that is the routine this kit covers. CPAP Club does not recommend ozone or UV sanitising devices for CPAP equipment. Our cleaning guide explains why and lists the other products to avoid.

The hanger holds 15mm, 19mm and 22mm tubing, including standard, slimline and most heated hoses from the major brands. It supports the mask on the same hanger, so both dry together. Hang the hose with both ends free so water can drain out, and keep a heated hose's electrical connector dry while it hangs.

Regular cleaning slows wear, but it does not stop it. Silicone cushions generally need replacing about every six months, and sooner if they turn cloudy, sticky, discoloured or stop sealing well. A cushion that still smells after a thorough wash and full drying is usually due for replacement. You can find replacement cushions and parts for most masks in our CPAP mask replacement parts range.
