CPAP Mask Frame Guide

Should I replace my frame, or buy a new mask?

If the frame is cracked, broken, or has a damaged connection point but the cushion and headgear are still in good condition, a frame replacement is the more economical option — frames cost considerably less than a complete mask and the rest of your mask system remains usable. If, however, the cushion and headgear are also due for replacement at the same time, the combined cost of individual parts may approach or exceed the cost of a new mask — particularly during a sale. It's worth comparing both options before purchasing. If you're also considering a change of mask style entirely, browse the full CPAP mask range for the latest options.

What's the difference between a frame and a frame with elbow?

Some mask frames are sold as the frame body only, while others are bundled with the elbow — the swivel connector that joins the frame to the CPAP tubing. If your elbow is intact and undamaged, a frame-only replacement is all you need. If the elbow is also broken, cracked, or has a stiff swivel that no longer rotates freely, look for a frame-with-elbow bundle in this range — it's often more economical than purchasing the two parts separately. Elbows are also available individually in the elbows category if that's the only component that needs replacing. Note that most frames do not include a cushion — you'll need to check whether a replacement cushion is also required when ordering.
