The Seatec Chin and Mouth Strap is a stable, adjustable chin and mouth strap designed for CPAP users with nasal or nasal pillow masks who breathe through their mouth during therapy. Unlike a traditional chin strap that supports only the chin, the Seatec covers the entire mouth — including the lips — providing fuller support for users who experience lip leakage even while wearing a standard chin strap. Who Is This For?

The Seatec is designed for nasal and nasal pillow mask users who breathe through their mouth during sleep, causing therapy air to escape. Symptoms that indicate mouth breathing is a problem include waking with a dry mouth, a feeling of air bubbling through the lips as you fall asleep, or difficulty keeping air pressure comfortable due to pressure loss. Because the Seatec's cup sits up over the mouth rather than supporting only the chin, it is also useful for users who have tried other CPAP chin straps and found that air still leaks through the lips.

How to Measure Your Size

Measure around your head from under your chin, up to the crown of your head (going just in front of your ears and over your forehead), then back down to the starting point under your chin. Most users will be a Medium. Adjustment is available within each size using the Velcro straps, so if your measurement falls between sizes, start with the smaller of the two.

Important — Compatibility

The Seatec Chin and Mouth Strap is designed for use with nasal masks and nasal pillow masks only. It is not suitable for use with full face masks.
