About the Headgear

The AirFit F30i NM headgear features adjustable straps that let you dial in a personalised, comfortable fit without over-tightening. A well-fitting headgear is essential for effective CPAP therapy — when straps begin to stretch and lose their elasticity, mask seal suffers, leaks increase, and therapy quality declines. Worn or stretched headgear is one of the most common (and easily fixed) causes of mask leak, making timely replacement well worth it.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, scented soaps, or moisturising or antibacterial soaps, as these can degrade the materials. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Gently squeeze out excess water — do not wring — and air dry away from direct sunlight. Always refer to the ResMed user guide for full care instructions.

When to Replace

Replace your headgear approximately every 12 months, or sooner if you notice any of these signs: straps have stretched out, lost their shape, or no longer hold tension; visible fraying or material breakdown; the mask is difficult to fit or no longer maintains a good seal; or discolouration, staining, or odour that persists after cleaning. Like all CPAP consumables, headgear is a normal wear-and-tear item — keeping it fresh is a simple way to protect the quality of your therapy.
