The Fisher & Paykel Nova Micro is the brand's smallest and lightest CPAP mask to date, weighing under 40 grams with the headgear and short tube attached. Built around F&P's "Less is Best" design philosophy, this nasal pillow mask keeps facial contact to a minimum — many users say it feels close to sleeping with nothing on at all.

The Nova Micro suits side sleepers, restless sleepers and anyone who finds bulkier masks intrusive or claustrophobic. Its minimal-contact design is a strong choice if you wake with red marks or pressure lines from a heavier mask, and the simple front-facing adjustment makes it approachable for newly diagnosed users. In a Fisher & Paykel validation trial, 97% of participants rated the pillows as soft or very soft, and 100% rated the overall seal performance as good or very good. It also makes an excellent travel mask. At under 40 grams with only a few compact parts, it packs down to almost nothing — easy to slip into a carry-on or overnight bag. If you use a ResMed AirMini, it pairs well with the AirMini Any Mask Kit, provided you don't need HumidX waterless humidification: the Any Mask (ZephAir) connector lets you run the Nova Micro on the AirMini, but it doesn't support HumidX.
