The AirFit F10 headgear uses a system of adjustable fabric straps that wrap around the head and connect to the mask frame, keeping the cushion seated firmly against the face. A well-fitting headgear is essential for therapy — even small amounts of slack in the straps can cause the mask to shift during sleep, leading to air leaks, pressure loss, and disrupted rest. Stretched or worn elastic is one of the most common (and most overlooked) causes of mask leak, and swapping the headgear is often all it takes to restore a good seal.
Care & Cleaning
Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Avoid bleach, chlorine, alcohol, and scented, moisturising, or antibacterial soaps, as these can degrade the materials over time. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Squeeze out excess water gently — do not wring — and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight. Always refer to the ResMed user guide for full care instructions.
When to Replace
Plan to replace the headgear approximately every 12 months as part of your regular CPAP maintenance routine.
