ResMed AirSense 10 Elite 4G Fixed Pressure CPAP Machine

The ResMed AirSense 10 Elite is the premium fixed pressure CPAP — same hardware as the AutoSet, with integrated HumidAir humidifier, ClimateLineAir heated tube, 4G cellular data, and ultra-quiet 27 dB operation. Pressure pre-set service available.

The ResMed AirSense 10 Elite is a premium fixed pressure CPAP machine — ResMed's flagship for users with a stable, well-titrated fixed pressure prescription. Identical hardware to the better-known AirSense 10 AutoSet, but with the auto-adjusting algorithm replaced by fixed pressure delivery at your prescribed level. Includes integrated HumidAir humidification, ClimateLineAir heated tube, ultra-quiet operation, 4G cellular connectivity for therapy data tracking, and clinical-grade event detection. Ships with a 2-year ResMed warranty extendable to 5 years on registration.

Key Features

  • Fixed pressure therapy (4–20 cm H₂O): Delivers your prescribed pressure consistently all night — set once and use; no algorithmic adjustments.
  • Integrated HumidAir heated humidifier: Built into the machine body — heated, adjustable humidification with auto temperature management. No separate humidifier to connect.
  • ClimateLineAir heated tube included: Mask-end temperature sensor maintains warm humidified air all the way to your mask, eliminating rainout (condensation in the tube). Eliminates the cold-tube gurgling that disrupts therapy.
  • Ultra-quiet 27 dB Easy-Breathe motor: About as loud as gentle rustling leaves — one of the quietest CPAP machines on the market. Friendly for both you and your partner.
  • AutoRamp with sleep onset detection: Starts at a comfortable low pressure and gradually ramps to your prescribed level once it detects you've fallen asleep. Makes drifting off easier.
  • SmartStart: Therapy begins the moment you breathe into the mask — no buttons. Stops automatically when you remove the mask.
  • Expiratory Pressure Relief (EPR): Softens pressure on exhalation for a more natural breathing feel — reduces the "fighting the machine" sensation common with fixed pressure CPAP.
  • Built-in 4G cellular modem + AirView portal: Automatic nightly therapy data upload — usage hours, leak events, AHI, and Respiratory Effort Related Arousal data. Your clinician can review remotely via ResMed's AirView platform.
  • Advanced event detection: Detects Central Sleep Apnea (CSA), RERA (Respiratory Effort Related Arousal), and Cheyne-Stokes respiration — flagging unusual breathing patterns to your clinician for review.
  • Ambient light sensor + auto-dimming screen: Screen brightness adjusts to the room's light level — no glare in the dark, fully visible during the day.
  • Compact and aircraft-rated: 116 × 255 × 150 mm, 1.25 kg. Universal 100–240V power with FAA approval for in-flight use.

AirSense 10 Elite vs AirSense 10 AutoSet — Which Should You Choose?

The AirSense 10 Elite and the AirSense 10 AutoSet share identical hardware — same machine body, same humidifier, same heated tube, same data tracking, same quiet operation. The only difference is the therapy algorithm:

  • AirSense 10 Elite (this machine): Delivers fixed pressure CPAP at your prescribed level. Simpler, slightly cheaper, and exactly matched to your prescription.
  • AirSense 10 AutoSet: Delivers auto-adjusting (APAP) pressure within a prescribed range, OR can be configured to run in fixed pressure mode if that's what your prescription calls for.

The Elite is the right choice when you have a stable, well-titrated fixed pressure prescription, you're not anticipating changes, and the slightly lower price is meaningful to you. The AutoSet is worth the small price difference if you want the option to switch to auto-adjusting mode later without buying a new machine — useful if your therapy needs change with sleep position, weight change, or seasonal variation.

Prescription Pre-Set Service

The AirSense 10 Elite is a fixed pressure CPAP — it needs your prescribed pressure set on the machine before therapy starts. If you'd like CPAP Club to pre-configure the machine to your prescribed pressure before shipping, upload your prescription when you place your order. The machine will arrive set to your prescribed pressure, ready to use the first night. No need to navigate the clinician menu or contact your sleep specialist again for the device setup.

AirSense 10 or AirSense 11 Elite?

ResMed has released the AirSense 11 Elite as the next generation of the fixed pressure platform — same fixed pressure therapy logic, but with an updated chassis design, touchscreen interface, and updated mobile app integration. The AirSense 10 Elite remains in active production and is still widely prescribed; many users prefer it for the established hardware reliability and the simpler dial-and-button interface. Either is a strong choice — the decision usually comes down to display preference and price.

Therapy Data and the myAir App

The built-in 4G cellular modem automatically uploads your therapy data after each night's session — no setup, no syncing required (Australian network coverage only). Therapy data appears in ResMed's myAir mobile app and online portal, showing usage hours, leak events, AHI (Apnea-Hypopnea Index), and mask seal quality. Your sleep clinician can also access the data remotely via AirView, which means therapy adjustments can often be made without an in-person appointment.

Compatibility

The AirSense 10 Elite works with any CPAP mask using a standard 22 mm cuff connection — the full ResMed range (AirFit F30i, F30, F40, N30i, N20, P30i, P10), Fisher & Paykel masks (Solo, Vitera, Evora, Brevida, Eson, Simplus), and Philips Respironics masks (DreamWear, Amara View).
