About the Headgear

The DreamWear headgear uses a distinctive over-the-head frame-arm design that positions the hose connection at the top of the head, keeping tubing out of the way while you sleep. Adjustable side straps let you dial in the right tension for a snug, leak-free seal. Over time, the straps naturally lose elasticity with nightly use and regular washing — worn or stretched headgear is one of the most common causes of mask leak, so replacing it promptly helps you get the most from your therapy.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, scented soaps, or moisturising or antibacterial soaps, as these can degrade the materials. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Gently squeeze out excess water — do not wring — and air dry away from direct sunlight. Always refer to the manufacturer's user guide for full care instructions.

When to Replace

Plan to replace your DreamWear headgear approximately every 12 months as part of your regular CPAP maintenance routine. Replace sooner if you notice any of the following: straps have stretched out, lost their shape, or no longer hold tension; visible fraying, pilling, or material breakdown; the mask is harder to fit correctly or no longer maintains a good seal; or discolouration, staining, or odour that doesn't wash out. Fresh headgear is a simple, low-cost step that can make a noticeable difference to your therapy comfort and effectiveness.
