Care & Cleaning

Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, scented soaps, or moisturising or antibacterial soaps. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Gently squeeze out excess water — do not wring — and air dry away from direct sunlight. Refer to the ResMed user guide for full care instructions.

When to Replace

Plan to replace your headgear approximately every 12 months as part of your regular CPAP maintenance routine. Replace sooner if you notice any of the following: straps have stretched out, lost their shape, or no longer hold tension; visible fraying, pilling, or material breakdown; the mask is harder to fit or no longer maintains a good seal; or discoloration, staining, or odour that doesn't wash out. Like all consumable CPAP parts, headgear experiences normal wear and tear over time.
