About the Headgear Magnet Clip

The DreamWear Full Face headgear uses a magnetic clip system to make donning and doffing the mask fast and intuitive — no fiddly buckles or straps to wrestle with in the dark. The clip attaches the mask frame to the headgear with a satisfying snap, keeping everything properly aligned for a consistent seal. Over time, magnetic clips can wear, lose holding strength, or become damaged, and a weakened clip is one of the more common reasons a previously well-fitting DreamWear setup starts to leak or shift during sleep.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, scented soaps, or moisturising or antibacterial soaps, as these can degrade the component. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Pat dry with a clean cloth and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight. Always refer to the Philips manufacturer's user guide for complete care instructions.

When to Replace

Replace your DreamWear magnet clip approximately every 12 months, or sooner if you notice any of the following: the clip no longer snaps firmly into place or loses its hold during sleep; visible cracking, warping, or material breakdown; difficulty achieving or maintaining a good mask seal that wasn't present before; or discolouration, staining, or persistent odour that doesn't wash out. Keeping this small component in good condition is an easy way to protect the performance of your entire mask setup.
