ResMed Standard CPAP Tubing 1.83m (Clear-Grey)

The ResMed Standard Tubing in 1.83 m clear-grey is the genuine 6 ft non-heated CPAP hose for ResMed therapy devices, with universal 22 mm cuffed ends. Same core specifications as the longer 2 m version — just slightly shorter, in a translucent grey finish — well suited for travel, compact bedside setups, or replacing the original tube on older ResMed machines that shipped with 6 ft tubing.

Compatibility

1.83 m or 2 m — Which Length Should You Choose?

Both lengths have identical inner diameter, cuff size and core specifications — pressure performance is unchanged. The 1.83 m (this tube) packs slightly more compactly for travel cases and is the original length on many older ResMed machines, so it's a like-for-like replacement if your machine shipped with 6 ft tubing. The longer 2 m version gives you a touch more reach if your machine sits further from your pillow. Choose based on your bedside setup and travel habits.

Standard or Heated Tubing?

Standard tubing is the universal default and works fine for most users in moderate climates. If you experience rainout (water droplets pooling in the tube on cool nights), upgrade to a heated tube like the ClimateLineAir for AirSense 10. For lighter, slimmer non-heated tubing, the ResMed SlimLine Tubing is a 15 mm alternative.

Cleaning & Care

Wash the tube weekly in warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and air-dry out of direct sunlight. The tube is not autoclavable and should not be exposed to harsh chemicals or high heat.

When to Replace Your Tube

Replace your CPAP tubing every 6 to 12 months as part of standard maintenance. Replace earlier if you notice cracks, holes, persistent odour, or visible build-up inside the tube that can't be cleaned out.
