About the Headgear
The DreamWisp headgear uses an over-the-head strap design that distributes tension evenly across the crown, with adjustable side straps to dial in the fit. This approach keeps the mask stable and the nasal cushion properly seated throughout the night. Worn or stretched elastic is one of the most common causes of mask leak — even when the mask itself is otherwise in good condition — so keeping your headgear in good shape is an important part of getting consistent therapy results. Available in Standard (MPN: 1137964), Large (MPN: 1137965), and Reduced Size to suit a range of head shapes and sizes.
Care & Cleaning
Hand wash the headgear weekly in warm water with a mild, unscented liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, scented soaps, or moisturising or antibacterial products. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Gently squeeze out excess water — do not wring — and air dry away from direct sunlight. Refer to the Philips user guide for full care instructions.
When to Replace
Plan to replace your DreamWisp headgear approximately every 12 months as part of your regular CPAP maintenance routine. Replace sooner if you notice any of the following: straps have stretched, lost their shape, or no longer hold their adjusted tension; visible fraying, pilling, or material breakdown; the mask is harder to position or no longer maintains a reliable seal; or discolouration, staining, or odour that persists after cleaning. Like all CPAP consumables, headgear is a normal wear-and-tear item and timely replacement helps protect the quality of your therapy.
