About the InfinitySeal™ Cushion

The AirFit F20 uses ResMed's InfinitySeal™ cushion — a dual-wall silicone design that creates an adaptive seal across the nose and mouth. The inner wall provides structural support while the outer wall flexes to conform to the contours of the face, distributing pressure evenly rather than concentrating it at fixed contact points. This reduces the likelihood of facial marks and pressure sores during overnight therapy, and maintains a stable seal as users shift positions during sleep.

When to Replace

ResMed recommends replacing the AirFit F20 cushion every 6 months under normal use. Signs that it's time to replace include increased leak alerts on your machine or app, visible silicone softening or discolouration, a tacky feel after cleaning, or persistent odour. Clean daily with mild soap and warm water or CPAP mask wipes, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
