About the AirFit F30 UltraCompact Cushion
The AirFit F30 uses ResMed's UltraCompact cushion — an under-the-nose full face design that seals below the nostrils and around the mouth without making any contact with the nasal bridge. This eliminates the nasal bridge pressure and red marks that conventional full face masks cause, and provides a completely clear field of vision for reading or wearing glasses before sleep. Both cushion sizes fit the same single Activa LT frame, so users can switch sizes by simply purchasing a different cushion rather than replacing the entire mask.
When to Replace
ResMed recommends replacing the AirFit F30 cushion every 6 months under normal use, or sooner if you notice increased leaks, visible silicone softening or discolouration, a tacky feel after cleaning, or persistent odour. Clean daily with mild soap and warm water or CPAP mask wipes, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
