About the AirFit N30 Nasal Cradle Cushion

The AirFit N30 uses a dual-wall nasal cradle cushion that sits under the nostrils in a front-entry frame — different from the N30i's tube-up SpringFit design. The dual-wall construction allows the inner wall to flex independently, creating an adaptive seal that adjusts to facial movement and breathing pressure without requiring tight headgear. The nasal bridge remains completely free of contact, and the compact frame gives users a wide, open field of vision. Both cushion sizes fit the same universal N30 frame, so switching sizes requires only a new cushion — no frame change needed.

When to Replace

ResMed recommends replacing the AirFit N30 cushion every 6 months under normal use, or sooner if you notice increased leaks, visible silicone softening or discolouration, a tacky feel after cleaning, or persistent odour. Clean daily with mild soap and warm water or CPAP mask wipes, rinse thoroughly, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
