About the ComfiSoft™ Fabric Cushion

The AirTouch N30i uses F&P's ComfiSoft™ silicone-coated fabric nasal cradle cushion — a woven fabric outer layer bonded to a silicone inner structure. The fabric surface is softer and more breathable than plain silicone, helping to reduce moisture and heat buildup at the nose contact area during overnight therapy. The cradle design sits under the nostrils rather than over the nasal bridge, keeping the bridge completely free of contact. Unlike the AirTouch F20's UltraSoft foam, the AirTouch N30i ComfiSoft cushion can be submerged in water and hand washed.

When to Replace

ResMed recommends replacing the AirTouch N30i ComfiSoft cushion every 6 months under normal use, or sooner if you notice reduced seal quality, fabric fraying or breakdown, or persistent odour. Hand wash with mild soap and warm water — the ComfiSoft cushion can be submerged. Do not machine wash. Wipe daily with CPAP mask wipes for easier daily maintenance, and hand wash weekly.
