About the Headgear

The Quattro Air headgear features adjustable straps that allow you to dial in a personalised fit. A well-fitting headgear is fundamental to effective CPAP therapy — when the straps hold firm, the mask cushion seats correctly, leaks are minimised, and your therapy pressure is delivered as intended. Worn or stretched elastic is one of the most common causes of unexpected mask leak, so keeping your headgear in good condition is just as important as replacing the cushion or frame.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash weekly in warm water with a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water — do not wring. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, scented soaps, or moisturising or antibacterial soaps, and do not machine wash or tumble dry. Always refer to the manufacturer's user guide for full care instructions.

When to Replace

Plan to replace your Quattro Air headgear approximately every 12 months as part of your regular CPAP maintenance routine. Replace sooner if you notice any of the following: straps have stretched and no longer hold tension; visible fraying, pilling, or material breakdown; the mask is harder to fit or no longer maintains a good seal; or there is discolouration, staining, or odour that won't wash out. Headgear is a normal wear-and-tear consumable, and a fresh set can make a noticeable difference to both comfort and therapy results.
