This is the genuine ResMed replacement headgear for the ResMed AirFit F20 Full Face CPAP Mask — in the non-magnetic (NM) version. It holds the mask securely in place and helps maintain a consistent seal throughout therapy. This non-magnetic variant is designed for users who require a headgear free of magnetic components, such as those with certain implanted medical devices.

Compatibility

  • ResMed AirFit F20 Full Face CPAP Mask
  • ResMed AirTouch F20 Full Face CPAP Mask

Available in three sizes — Small (MPN: 64040), Standard (MPN: 64041), and Large (MPN: 64042) — to suit a wide range of head shapes and sizes. Please select the size that matches your current mask setup.

About the Headgear

The AirFit F20 NM headgear features adjustable straps that allow you to fine-tune the fit and tension across the top and sides of the head. A properly adjusted headgear is essential for maintaining a reliable seal — without it, even a well-chosen cushion can shift and leak throughout the night. Worn or stretched straps are one of the most common causes of mask leak, and replacing the headgear is often the simplest fix for a mask that no longer stays put.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, scented soaps, or moisturising or antibacterial soaps, as these can degrade the materials. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Gently squeeze out excess water — do not wring — and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight. Refer to the ResMed user guide for your mask for full care instructions.

When to Replace

Plan to replace your headgear approximately every 12 months as part of your regular CPAP maintenance routine. Replace sooner if you notice any of the following: straps have stretched out or no longer hold tension; visible fraying, pilling, or fabric breakdown; the mask has become harder to fit or no longer maintains a good seal; or discoloration, staining, or odour that doesn't wash out. Headgear is a normal wear-and-tear consumable, and keeping it in good condition makes a real difference to the quality of your therapy.
