About the Headgear

The AirFit F30i and AirTouch F30i headgear features adjustable top-of-head straps and magnetic clip closures at the cheeks, making it quick and easy to remove and reattach the mask at night without fully readjusting the fit each time. A well-fitting headgear is essential for a consistent mask seal — when straps stretch out over time, small leaks can develop, disrupting therapy and disturbing sleep. Replacing worn headgear is one of the simplest ways to restore a reliable seal and improve your therapy results.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash weekly in warm water with a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Do not use bleach, chlorine, alcohol, scented soaps, or moisturising or antibacterial soaps. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Squeeze out excess water gently — do not wring — and air dry away from direct sunlight. Always refer to the ResMed user guide for full care instructions.

When to Replace

Plan to replace your headgear approximately every 12 months, or sooner if you notice any of the following: straps have stretched out, lost their shape, or no longer hold tension; visible fraying, pilling, or material breakdown; the mask is harder to fit or no longer maintains a good seal; or discoloration, staining, or odour that won't wash out. Headgear is a normal wear-and-tear consumable — keeping it fresh is a straightforward step toward consistent, comfortable therapy.
