Replacing worn headgear is one of the simplest ways to restore reliable therapy performance.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash weekly in warm water using a mild liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Avoid bleach, chlorine, alcohol, and scented, moisturising, or antibacterial soaps, as these can degrade the materials over time. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. When to Replace

Replace your Simplus headgear approximately every 12 months as part of your regular CPAP maintenance routine. You may need to replace it sooner if the straps have stretched, lost tension, or no longer hold their adjustment; if you notice visible fraying, pilling, or material breakdown; if the mask is increasingly difficult to fit correctly; or if there is discolouration, staining, or persistent odour that won't wash out. Worn headgear is one of the most common causes of mask leak — when in doubt, it's time for a fresh set.
